After nine years of silence the French dark/death metal band SOLEKAHN is now ready to release their second full-length album “Nightlights”. SOLEKAHN is a dark/death metal band from France established in 1998. Since 2001 the trio has consisted of Olivier DB (Vocals, guitars, bass & effects), Cédric LK (drums) and Eric BR (bass & keys).

In 2002 the first EP “Suffering Winds” was amazingly welcomed by metal critics worldwide and brought tons of positive feedbacks. The Suffering Fall Tour took place at the end of that year and the band reached Germany, Switzerland & France. With the newfound hype around the band the French label Sacral Productions signed them in early 2003 for the release of their first full-length album entitled “The Great Divider”, which was released in the beginning of 2004. Like the previous release the album was extremely well received by both medias and fans and was followed by a tour in France and Switzerland.
Metallian gave “The Great Divider” 5/6 stars and said: “…Each track is a powerful chapter that has to be read again and again to be blown away…”, while Rock Hard (FR) concluded: “…The Great Divider is a monumental album…” and gave it 9/10 stars. Nine years of silence

There has been silence around SOLEKAHN in nine years (!!), but now the band is ready to release their second full-length album “Nightlights”. Olivier DB comments: “It was not easy to achieve a worthy follower to “The Great Divider” … actually it took six year to record “Nightlights” between 2006 and 2012.” Six years during which the band had time to transcend their own dark atmosphere, in order to deliver their best effort so far.

The lyrical themes on the album deals with an obscure world interpreted through dreams and nightmares, focusing on the fact that for some individuals, the dark can be seen as light. “Nightlights” appears as a dark glow in the night – a dark sound from below that enlightens the minds!

Sounds Of Fury is a Death Metal band formed in July 2011 in Lausanne, Switzerland. The band aims to compose original music whilst maintaining the codes of this style.

Between October and December 2011, the band recorded their first album called “1.0“, mixed and mastered at the Hertz Studio in Poland. In 2012, Sounds Of Fury self-released this album in order to give its first concerts and to move forward. In December 2013, Great Dane Records offered to distribute the album 1.0.

In April 2014, Sounds Of Fury headed to Germany to record a second album, “Mediocracy“, at the “Stage One Studio“ with Andy Classen (Krisiun, Belphegor, Destruction, Dew Scented, etc.).

‘Mediocracy’ will be released worldwide via Mighty Music May 25^th. 2015!

Have you ever wondered what a 70’s rock band would sound like today?

Souls of Tide is somewhat strangely assembled as the different backgrounds of these six experienced musicians grew from both rock and metal. The members are known from other bands like Trollfest, Wyruz, Sarkom, Porterville, Dead Maple, Matanzick and Opel .This clearly flavors their style and sound to ensure variations within the barriers of rock-genres. Effective songs mixed with catchy choruses are the main ingredient, and the foundation built from bass-lines and drums gets melted together with the breathing Hammond-organ. Cleverly garnished with guitar-leads the path is open for the powerful and edgy vocals to set the mood.

The music can be linked to bands like Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and The Doors, but in a new and exiting wrapping. Souls of Tide have already released an EP since the band originated out of Hamar, Norway early 2014. Late 2015 they signed a deal with Mighty Music and their first release is the  “She’s Dead” single/video.

The full length album named “Join the Circus” was released world wide August 26th, 2016.

Both single and album are produced by the experienced producer Endre Kirkesola who teamed up with the band for one week of recordings at a cabin up in the Norwegian mountains. Isolated away from anything but nature, rock n roll and some alcohol, the band got pushed to its limits which clearly can be heard in the music!

Conceived in 2013, Stahlsarg immediately took to the road to travel through the UK and Europe sharing their blackened death metal sound. Inspired by the world wars, their lyrics boldly and non-politically storify poignant moments of military history against a theatrical backdrop and infectious noise. Air time includes Bloodstock Radio, Total Rock Radio, ICR, BRFM and Top Rock Radio amongst others. They’ve also featured in UK and European music magazines.

2014 saw such milestones as supporting pioneers of Norwegian black metal, Mayhem, on their sole UK date in London, storming Belgium with Italian black metallers Handful of Hate and joining black metal band Excruciate 666 in France. Stahlsarg were also honoured to grace the Sophie Lancaster stage at Bloodstock 2014, warming up the crowd for Satan. No strangers tothe festival scene, Stahlsarg also enjoyed Beermageddon Festival in Birmingham and Belgium’s No Compromise Metal Festival alongside headliner Crystal Viper.

Early 2015 Stahlsarg proudly created Stahlsarg Beer – handcrafted in association with The Dove Brewery, Ipswich and this was followed by a headline show in Camden, London. The band played a roaring set in Germany at Wonnemond Festival in May, sharing the stage with the German black metal legends Endstille. Stahlsarg attracted the attention of Randall amplification and are now proud to be a part of their artist roster.

Stahlsarg’s debut album, “Comrades In Death”, was recorded with Danny B. Takoma (Criminal, Napalm Death) of HVR studios, due for release internationally via the Danish label Mighty Music on October 23rd 2015. The release will coincide with their five date Halloween tour of the UK supporting Endstille.

With such a busy year ahead, including gigs, beers and the album, Stahlsarg are dead set on continuing to rise from the trenches and cross the parapet where ever it may lead.

STASS was formed after Felix and Rogga met at a Paganizer gig in Germany 2012. Paganizer was playing a minitour and at a gig in Ludwigshafen near Mannheim where Felix resides, they bumped into eachother. Sharing a mutal love for metal and drinking aswell as eating, there couldnt be much question that they would enjoy eachothers company. After keeping in touch and Felix guesting on a song on the second Megascavenger album they both thought it would be cool to work on a whole album together, combining their talents in the best possible way. And then the idea of STASS was born. To make an album together that showcases both the heavy and the dark and also the melodic sides to both their main bands Crematory and Paganizer. A total of fifteen songs were written and recorded and produced by Demiurg bassplayer Johan Berglund, who also plays bass on the album. On lead guitars Paganizers Kjetil Lynghaug stepped in and excels in some awesome solowork. The album that contains ten of the fifteen written songs is a vortex of melodic dark death metal, oozing of the vibe and the voice of Crematory but merged with the heaviness of Swedish death metal.

This is a quote from one of the leading rock magazines in the world “Classic Rock Magazine, UK” and from no other than Geoff Barton – the founding member of Kerrang now Editor at Large @ Classic Rock Magazine UK, when he reviewed the debut album from 2012. Now, the band is back with a vengeance with the second album”Glorified”.

Who?…..
St. Prostitute is a Danish rock act with a strong fascination for rock *n* roll and the times when rockstars were really rockstars. With huge egos, tons of guitars, hooks, licks and screaming vocal in the power energitic music the band is ready for the next quest – to conquer the world.

The band consists of the Korsholm Brothers (Fussy on vocals/guitar and Morten on lead guitar), Jack Andy on dums, Kris Freeze on guitar & Jones Bak on bass. A 5-pieces rockband.

The New Album…..
The foundation of the brand new album “Glorified” surfaced in the summer of 2014, when the band was in a very creative period and a lot of new songs were written. It was from the early stage very clear that the raw, powerfuland “live-ish” was to be captured “on tape”. The obvious choice was to team up with a friend of the band, producer and studio owner of Lobster Studio Rune Buck. He has a certain ability to catch that vibe. The album “Glorified” is the result, which is a full frontal attack with loads of up-temp songs with great hooks, licks and melodies.

“Glorified” is mastered in Lurssen Mastering, Hollywood by Rueben Cohen (Foo Fighters, Incobus, Rob Zombie, Pharrell, Bruno Mars etc.). One of the main reasons why Mr. Cohen chosen is due to his ability to get a modern touch in a classic rock act like St. Prostitute.

The short story…..
In 2010 St. Prostitute went to USA on a small PR & Club Tour. Legendary venues like Whiskey A Go Go and Viber Room in Hollywood and Wasted Space, Las Vegas were on the poster.
St. Prostitute had the honor of supporting Pretty Maids in front of 12.000 people in the heart Copenhagen back in 2011.
2012 is a milestone in the history of the band. The debut album ”Here Come The Prostitutes” was release and received great reviews world wide. Several magazines and webzines had the album on a “Best Of 2012” list. Furthermore 3 songs from the album appeared on different UK compilations – especially Classic Rock Magazine’s “Best of 2012”..

SYRON VANES was one of the first bands emerging from Sweden inspired by the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal scene (NWOBHM). The band formed in 1980 and released two highly acclaimed classic albums in the eighties, “Bringer Of Evil” from 1984 and “Revenge” from 1986.

Like other talented bands from that period of heavy metal, the big success never came and the band took a long break in the 90’s. In 2003 the comeback album “Insane” was released and the same year the band performed at Sweden Rock Festival. In 2007 the album “Property Of..” was released and quickly forgotten and it took the band seven years to release “Evil Redux” in 2014. This album was very well received by both critics and fans and followed by a sold out UK tour together with Jake E. Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel and Swedish gigs with Sebastian Bach.

In the summer of 2016 SYRON VANES hooked up with Scandinavia’s premier rock- & metal label Mighty Music. The Swedish band travelled to Copenhagen to meet with CEO Michael H. Andersen and the chemistry was there from the beginning.

2017 will see SYRON VANES releasing their strongest album to date, “Chaos From A Distance”.

13 new songs of powerful, old school heavy metal. The new material is a mixture of faster and heavier songs which has always been a SYRON VANES hallmark.

“Chaos from a Distance” will be released 10th February 2017 on CD and digital and currently a European tour is in the making.

Sugarcane is a danish band that plays high energetic melodic Rock.

Sugarcane was formed in 2014. And since then they´ve been working hard on their new album “Minded for the Radio” and live performances. Building their own style and sound with heavy guitar riffs and catchy lyrics. The songs have a deep meaning and a personal touch, that people can relate to.

“Minded for the Radio” was recorded in the summer of 2017, at Medley studios Copenhagen, with Soren Andersen behind the mixer, and mastered by Henrik West.

Tainted Lady is a unadulterated, energetic rock band from Denmark consisting of five passionate musicians in their mid twenties. After being joined by British singer Michael Catton in 2015, Tainted Lady has been collaborating with musician and producer Soren Andersen (Glenn Hughes, Electric Guitars) – and now they are ready to release their debut album “How The Mighty Have Fallen” on May 26^th 2017 through Mighty Music.

Learning their craft from bands of different eras of rock like Deep Purple, Aerosmith and The Beatles, the band is always seeking unique ways to arrange and refine their old-school style of playing, to give their songs as much of a personal voice as possible. With a blend of Catton’s distinctive vocals, twin guitar solos, big 70’s inspired vocal harmonies, the five members strongly voice their opinions through their lyrics and are never afraid to speak their minds – Soren Andersen even dubbing their music “rebel-rock”.

“How The Mighty Have Fallen” was written and recorded in 2016 and is the result of intense sessions where the band ended up writing over 35 songs before finally arriving at the ten songs on the album. With a pure live production, the band’s energetic live performances and attitude has been captured for all to experience.  The core of the group have stuck together since they were teenagers, playing in their bedrooms, dreaming of one day releasing a full-length album. Last year they scraped all the money they had together, and made that dream come true in Medley Studios with Soren Andersen.

Vocalist Michael Catton on the title “How The Mighty Have Fallen”:

“The title comes from one of our songs, which sort of ironically pokes fun at the lack of originality in the rock genre today, especially among the established rock bands. But we found that it actually reflects well on most of lyrics on the album, where a general theme is the established vs. the anti-established, the old vs. the new. At the same time it refers to the state of the world in 2017.”

Michael Catton was pulled on stage to sing at Steel Panther’s Danish concert last year, and he ended up featuring on backing vocals on their newest album. Tainted Lady has been touring all over Denmark in recent years, including playing major Danish festivals such as Jelling Musikfestival, Fredericia Rock and Rock Under Broen. They also got the chance to support acts like Deep Purple, Pretty Maids, and Electric Guitars. At the moment they are planning extensive touring in Denmark and Europe throughout 2017-2018, and following the release of their album, Tainted Lady is truly set to make a real impact on the rock scene today.

TEMNEIN is a French progressive extreme metal band with death/thrash influences that draws musical inspirations from artists like Between the Buried and Me, Death and At the Gates.

TEMNEIN, which was formed in 2009, is based in Nancy, France, and the members come from several towns around north-east of France.
The band’s first recording was produced by Flavien MOREL, keyboardist of Benighted Soul in December 2010, resulting in a demo of 2 tracks named “Time To Avenge”.

Thanks to this demo recording, the band received positive response in the chronicles of several French webzines, and made it possible for the band to perform around twenty gigs in north-east of France and in places such as Paris, Reims and Belgium, featuring bands like Hacride, Hypno5e, and Valborg.

After a few lineup changes, the band was ready to record their first album in February 2013. It was made at Mon Studio in Nancy in collaboration with Yann KLIMEZYK who has worked with notable French artists such as Kells, My Pollux and Pobox.

The result is entitled “404 B.C.” and contains 9 tracks with a total running time of 53 minutes.

Vocalist Yoann “Sub” SACHOT explains about the album:

“404 B.C.” deals with duality that stays in various fields: love, pacifism, work, psychology, our self-perception. It’s the story of a character that develops himself in these diverse points. He has no name but could be called by any of them. He is like any of us, confronted with his moral choices, his principles and his instinct. He has to define his own notion of good and evil.

Each song is a snapshot of his life, various reborn and evolutions of his personality and his state of mind.”

The musical influences on the album is many, ranging from groovy and catchy melo-death, to old-school heavy metal with harmonized guitars, power metal- oriented choruses, but also hardcore technical and progressive parts and blast- beats – even a black metal part is present on the album. All of this tied up in a common thread that is the essence of TEMNEIN.

Surely this is an album for the metal listener that wants to be challenged, but at the same time the listener will nod recognizable and groove to the world of TEMNEIN.

“404 B.C.”. will be released worldwide January 27th 2014 by Mighty Music.
