GORY BLISTER are an old-school death metal band originally inspired by Death and the Kreator/Pestilence tradition. It’s no coincidence they made their debut in 1991.

After their official debut Art Bleeds, the album that got the best attention from the audience was Skymorphosis, providing the band the chance to go on a big European tour, alongside Steve Di Giorgio’s Sadus, and Darkane.

In the two albums released in the following years, Graveyard Of Angels and Earth-Sick, the latter is worth mentioning, featuring Karl Sanders from Nile, as a special guest on vocals in 2 songs.

Eventually, The Fifth Fury could have been the band’s ultimate album, but the diehard passion for music, and the challenge to push it forward, has motivated the band to write new material, laying the foundations for the new album entitled “1991.Bloodstained”. Out through Mighty Music on September 28th.

Formed in 2008, Shotgun Rodeo are a four piece heavy metal band hailing from the city of Trondheim, Norway. Seamlessly cruising across a sea of metal styles and sub-genres, Shotgun Rodeo surpasses any premeditated sonic expectations that the listener may have had before listening. The band don’t like to be labeled as one genre, but if held at gunpoint they would refer to themselves as ‘Heavy Metal on Steroids’. Following on from their previous EP releases ‘Dead End Massacre’ (2012) and ‘Guilty as Charged’ (2013), the band really picked up some steam with the release of their debut full-length album, ‘World Wide Genocide’ in 2015 and ‘The New Standard’ EP in 2016. These were highly praised by international press and magazines. Labeled as a band that is both nostalgic and forward thinking, Shotgun Rodeo is a band that will appeal to many different listeners from the metal world.

Never afraid the push the boundries, the band are now gearing up to release their second full length album, ‘By Hook Or By Crook’ 24th of August through Mighty Music. The diversity and technical proficiency  of the album’s 13 tracks takes Shotgun Rodeo’s sound even further then previous releases. It’s an interesting combination of styles which seems wayward upon first inspection, but overall their sound is incredibly methodical, and it’s this vast range of influence and Shotgun Rodeo’s clear knowledge and love for metal heritage that makes it work. At times, ‘By Hook Or By Crook’ feels like a release that could have been heard on Roadrunner Records during their heyday, but it could equally feel at home with along the likes of modern metal bands as Lamb Of God and Avenged Sevenfold. As only their second full length album Shotgun Rodeo have shown a lot of promise for what is yet to come.

Asphodelia is a dark symphonic metal act founded in 2016 in Foggia, Italy, by Samuela “Samah” Fuiani (vocals and keyboards) and Ruggero “Lordian” Doronzo (guitar), and currently including Davide Ricciardi (bass), Giuseppe Centonza (drums) and Gianni Colonna (guitar). Their sound blends symphonic and choral sonorities, electronics and Mediterranean echoes into a solid metal frame with a strongly dark mood. Their lyrics are usually centered on the theme of the afterlife, on the life and death dichotomy, the fleetingness of time and the misery of the human condition.

Recently, Asphodelia have recorded their debut album “Welcome Apocalyopse” and signed to Denmarks Mighty Music. The band are currently scheduling a European tour in support of the album release.

Carrion is a 4 piece death metal band based in Gent, Belgium. The band started out in 2007 playing covers of classic death metal songs. But quickly they recorded a demo with their own songs and finally in 2012 they released their debut album “Revelations” in 2012.

Since then Carrion has played numerous shows and festivals, with a passing on the famous Wacken Open Air in 2016, MetalDays 2017 and a show at the Black-Out Bash 2017 with Grave Digger and fellow label/death metal mates No Return.

Now the guys from Belgium are ready to spread their anger with the rest of world. Their second album “Time To Suffer” will see the light of day, with the release on Mighty Music 22nd of June.

The music of Edge Of Ever is hard to define and not easy to put into a specific genre. it can be described as a mo- dern mixture of old-school heavy metal and progressive metal combined with core influences or as referred to by Rock Hard Magazine: „high energy prog“.

Born out of a passion to create dark and heavy rock music, Chasing Ghosts was formed by Lee Brueton. Influenced by bands such as Paradise Lost, Anathema, Moonspell and driven by a desire to give the UK rock scene some much needed fresh blood. In contrast to most bands within this genre, ‘Chasing Ghosts’ have carved their own unique sound, with clean vocals and emotive lyrics that are there to be heard and not hidden, compliment and not dominate. Their songs evoke emotions of fear, sadness, loss and regret, entwined within each doom laden guitar riff. Now signed to ‘Mighty Music,’ Denmark’s largest premier rock/metal label, with their album release due out early February 2018.

Recorded by ‘Enter Shikari’ engineer Tim Morris and aired on over 50 radio stations worldwide, the track ‘Fallen From Grace’ became the band’s first official video. The video featured Pixie Le Knot, actress and contortionist from ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘The Devil Inside’ . It debuted on ‘Amp’d TV’, hosted by Kerrang’s very own Johnny Doom.

The band are Nelson Cancini (Vocals), Lee Brueton (Bass/Synth), Ashley Clark (Rhythm purpose to produce honest and unrelenting rock music. Winners of Ubeat ‘Rock Act of the Year’ 2016, one of the UKs most celebrated emerging music awards.

Chasing Ghosts have played prestigious venues such as the Camden Assembly, Proud Camden, The Craufurd Arms, Bedford Esquires, Hope and Anchor and headlined the O2 Academy 2 Liverpool. A European tour is planned for early 2018 to coincide with their album launch in Copenhagen and festival dates to be announced soon.
