Aloop is a band unwilling to compromise when it comes to the creation of their music. In developing their explosive and pulverizing sound, Aloop creates music charged with pure energy and raw emotion. The Northern quintet joined forces in 2000 and was formed by musicians from different parts of the Danish metal environment. Thus, including elements from death-, heavy- and classical metal, Aloop combines the heaviness of e.g. early Sepultura with ass kicking southern thrash elements similar to those of Pantera and Slayer. The sound of Aloop has been labelled as a redefinition of old-school head-banging metal. Even though the quintet’s sound is highly inspired by old-school metal, Aloop has managed to create a unique sound charged with melody and mind-shaking brutality hitting the listener hard in the face.

Armortura are a melodic thrash metal band based in North East England and although the music is loosely based on old school thrash, there are lots of modern and melodic influences that can be heard from the tight, harmonised guitars coupled with pounding bass lines and powerful vocals.

Armortura was formed in April 2016 by ex-HOLOSADE members Phil De Sade (vocals) and Paul Trotter (guitarist), who, after a chance meeting at a Rock Night back in March 2016, decided to catapult their creative musical ideas and shared passion for hard hitting metal music into a new venture, following their dreams of spreading this unique blend of metal music as far and wide as possible.

Early 2017 saw the full band formulation of Adam Ironside on guitar Neil Vickers on drums (also ex-HOLOSADE) and Steve Smart on bass to make the talented five-piece metal machine you see today!

The writing of the ten track album came into full flow throughout 2016 and early 2017, when many an hour was spent in Paul’s home studio recording demo tracks that would be built upon before launching into the professional studio. Final recording, mixing and mastering of the self-financed album began in July 2016 with Producer James Stephenson at Stymphalian Productions in York, UK. The album took one year to complete from start to final mix.

In April 2017, Armortura submitted a four track demo to Mighty Music which was well received and Mighty Music requested to hear the full album. The label were delighted with the full album and in July 2017, Armortura signed to Denmark’s biggest metal label, Mighty Music, who will be releasing the killer self-entitled debut album worldwide in December 2017.

With a raw, and yet clean vocal and a mixture of heavy dissonant riffs and big melodies, Annominus distinguishes itself in many ways from the rest.

There is no focus on playing as quickly as possible. The absolute focus is to make the individual songs as good as possible.

With inspirations ranging from Gojira and Mastodon to Depeche Mode, different angels of music is important for this band. Add to all this a great DIY attitude, and you are approaching what Annominus is all about

With their new album “The Architect” released on Mighty Music 1st of June, Annominus has made an ambitious conceptual album about how we, as humans, can become discouraged by the world we live in, as well as how we can get up from the ashes again – or let ourselves be destroyed by ourselves.
It brings a critical view of the institutionalization of us as humans and a more poetic approach to the “us against the world” concept.

The records was written under intimate conditions, with only the band involved. It was recorded in collaboration with Anders Vohs (When Water Runs Deep) – a close friend of the band. This was done to maintain the intimate atmosphere on the record.

Annominus brings a great amount of experience from the stage. They have supported major bands like Amorphis and the American giants Black Label Society as well as a headliner tour through Russia in 2015.

Annominus brings a working class thinking on stage. No place is to small or too big!

Since the band was formed in 2007 – all members in their mid-teens – APHYXION has been going through a major development both musically and mentally. The young boys have gathered a rather good reputation by their appearances on prestigious festivals such as Wacken Open Air and Copenhell, massive touring in Europe and shows played alongside well established bands both inside and outside of Denmark. APHYXION has managed to play nearly 100 shows before the age of 20. They have a prominent willpower that is always increasing.

APHYXION has managed to release a handful of EP’s: ”Eradication of Fates” (2009) and ”Obliteration of the Weak” (2010) – which gave them the confidence and experience to work towards a full album. At an early state, the band teamed up with highly experienced and professional people which secured the high quality of all their written material. All releases were well received by the Danish metal press.

Their very first full-length album, “Earth Entangled” is produced, mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Aborted, Mercenary e.g.) and the APHYXION’s own guitarist, Jonas Haagensen.

A perfect teamwork during the recordings of the album has ensured a tight and powerful sound. Strong riffs, melodic choruses, ass-kicking breakdowns and mind-blowing vocals are all aspects of “Earth Entangled”. A strong combination of catchy guitar-riffs and groovy death/thrash metal makes this album stand out.

Besides being nominated for “Best Hard Rock Album” at the prestigious annual Gaffa Awards, “Earth Entangled” has been received with praises from the biggest rock/metal Medias around the world. :

Arvas, formerly known as Örth, is a Norwegian black metal band formed in Bergen in 1993 by V-Rex.

He recorded two demos “Countless Souls at Dawn” and “I Am Thy Grief”, and a split album with Hordagaard titled “Dawn of Satan/Uncle Satan”, which was released by Azermedoth Records.

The band’s first official full length album was “Blessed from Below – Ad Sathanas Noctum” released by Odium Rec in 2009, and re-issue by Satanic Art Media in 2016. Their second and third album “Into The Realm Of The Occult” and “Black Satanic Mysticism” was released November 2013 & March 2015 by Italian label ATMF Records.

The music is very much in the extreme metal landscape but has it roots in the original thrash metal from early eighties. With a touch of an old school black metal approach you have all that Arvas is about musically.

Arvas has shared stages with bands like Throne Of Kartasis, Urgehal, 1349, Nocturnal Breed etc. In March 2013 Arvas toured the European countries supporting Deicide on their ‘End Of The World Tour’ and in 2016 they did the “Black Satanic Mysticism Tour’’ & Kings of Black Metal Festival 2016 and many more.

Unmasked, raw Rock ‘N’ Roll is the key word, brought to you in an authentic, energetic, rich and captivating way, and of course the mandatory crank-up-the-reverb guitar-solos – This is AVENTYR!

AVENTYR started out in a gloomy dark attic in 2001, at the head of the Sognefjord, Norway. They held on for several turbulent years, with a good flow of musicians from bands like Funeral, Taake and Grotesque Hysterectomy amongst their ranks.

In ‘04 AVENTYR went to sleep and in ’08 arose yet again, with guitarist, composer and founder Steinar Aven, and vocalist, composer and co-founder Roger Olsen as the only remaining members of the “old” AVENTYR. Together with a fresh generation of rockers AVENTYR re-emerged from the dark ground and back onto the music-scene; ready and able.

In 2011 the band released the EP ”Trouble”, mixed by Beau Hill (Alice Cooper, Europe, Winger etc.) at the UK label Casket Music. The EP received good reviews both at home and abroad. In one of the reviews the band were defined as a mixture of Hellacopters and Backyard Babies in great shape – a description well-earned. This led, among other things, to a 5-year publishing agreement with American Michael Davenport / Expressive Artists, where names like AC/DC, Guns ‘n’ Roses and David Bowie are signed.

Already in late 2011 the band was ready with new material to follow-up the EP. The debut album “Driven” was recorded by the band themselves in a local studio in their home town of Førde in Norway.

The recordings stood by from January to August 2012 and finally the tunes were sent over the “pond” for mix and master by their good partner Beau Hill. The result is a bunch of efficient in-your-face rock’n’roll tunes. As musical inspiration one can find everything from Mötorhead to Billy Idol, no comparison btw.

“Driven” will be released January 28th 2013 via Mighty Music.

Aztek is a progressive rock band from Aalborg, Denmark. Though undeniably rooted in classic rock the sound is influenced by more progressive artists such as Opeth, Jeff Buckley and of course Led Zeppelin. Upon listening one also notices a distinct middle eastern flavour to the harmonic in the rhythm section this complemented by the longing, yet powerful, voice of Benjamin Vestergaard constitutes the inticing sound of Aztek.

The 14th of October marks the release of the band’s first album entitled “Dream Dealer”, a collection of songs of great diversity and variety regarding musical impressions but with a strong collective feeling nonetheless. The often very potent sound of heavy guitar riffs is contrasted by a field of rather fragile and personal lyrics often circling themes of love and affliction.

The first single of the record will be the gloomy and mystical “Nick Cave” which is best described as a sort of modern murder ballad with a pinch of middle eastern prog. Despite of its somewhat unusual composition of genres it has both a rather accessible vibe to it an a catchy melody.

As to the recording of the album it is highly inspired by the ways of the 60s and 70s rock records. It has from the beginning been a wish for the band to record “as close to a live situation as it is possible”, as a more raw, unpolished and not so digitalized sound clearly fit the experimental nature of the songs.

Since forming in 2005, BILLY BOY IN POISON has been continuously perfecting their powerful blend of death metal and metalcore. The band has put out a string of EP’s, and the latest, “Perdition” from 2010, received broad praise from the Danish metal press: “Some of the best metalcore I have ever heard … really heavy and powerful.” (Metalized Magazine), “Everything a modern metal fan could want.” (Revolution Music).

The new album “Watchers” tops it all and stands out as the greatest milestone so far. The album is produced, mixed and mastered by the renowned Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Aborted, Mercenary etc.), which has resulted in a tight and powerful soundscape. Variety and coherency is key on the album, with the band leaning on contemporary death metal, but infusing it with crunch and catchiness from metalcore. Punishing heavy riffs and blast beats are accompanied by both atmospheric parts and an occasional progressive twist.

Having played more than 70 shows in Denmark and around Europe, BILLY BOY IN POISON is fast establishing a reputation as a must-see live act. Recently the band was hand-picked by Danish heavyweights Hatesphere as main support on part of their European tour.
