What would happen, if Jack White took drugs with Daft Punk and invited Tame Impala along for a line? The hippie rockers of Bite The Bullet might have the answer.

The seventies-rockband literally bite the bullet and cut up their riff-driven retro sounds with blistering electro beats and charming pop-hooks.

The result is a wild, charming and danceable version of acid pop. The thundering drums are still murky and rough, but the Jack White styled guitar riffs have been exchanged for vintage synths, cold reverb and hook-filled choruses. Sweet Honey is written and produced in collaboration with Søren Christensen (Nabiha, Fallulah, Reptile Youth), who has brought out completely new sides to Bite The Bullet.

The last album “Wheels” was released in 2015 and received great reviews worldwide, for example 9/10 in Rock It (DE), 8,5/10 in Rock Tribune (DE) and a major feature in Classic Rock Germany.

Furthermore, Bite The Bullet has played 100 shows e.g. with Go Go Berlin all around Europe. Had an indie radio hit with the song “Wheels” on German radio and is probably the best retro rock band on stage from Denmark.

Black Book Lodge is a quartet based in Copenhagen, Denmark. They are not easily labeled in regards to a specific genre, as they work within a lot of different styles and somehow manage to merge these different inputs into a powerful, melodic, organic, and original whole. One way to define them though, would be as being inherently nordic, as their music does invoke an imagery of vast, barren landscapes and white, towering mountains, or as Metalsucks.net puts it: “If Mastodon and Muse had a baby in Denmark and never taught it how to run, that baby would be Black Book Lodge.”

In regards to the general direction on the new album, Ronny elaborates “I felt it was time to gather rather than alienate the listener this time around. As much as I love dark, angsty rock, lately I’ve simply been more inspired by the hope and light life has to offer. You might say the snow on the mountains and landscapes of our two former releases have melted on this one. The sun is out and beaming down, and it feels great, doesn’t it?”

“Steeple And Spire” is the third album from Black Book Lodge. Produced, recorded and mixed by Ronny Jønsson and Jakob Gundel and vocal mix and mastered by Jacob Hansen.

Denmark has a new rock-act with a badass flavor and a unique heavy sound – We bring you Black Income!

The best way to describe Black Income, is a new rock identity emerged from the grunge-wave in the 90s, combined with elements from today’s Fuzz-Rock. Black Income may be inspired by acts like Queens of the Stone Age, Tool, Fu Manchu, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden and Stone Temple Pilots, but the sound and feel is their own.

Black Income was formed in 2012 by four guys with an ambition to create rock music; honest rock music inspired by the early 90’s when grunge was the sound. After only one year together, in 2013, Black Income teamed up with producer Soren Andersen (Glenn Hughes, Mike Tramp, D-A-D) and entered the legendary Medley Studio in Copenhagen, where bands like Radiohead, D-A-D and Kent has recorded some of their best albums.

The Debutalbum ‘Noise Pollution’ tells the story of a world in chaos, where everybody knows best and dosn’t listen to each other. A World where shouting out your own views and opinions while being deaf to other people – That’s Noise Pollution! The lyrics is about the massive impact the social medias has on us and about the materialistic world we all are a part of. It’s about true feelings like love and hate.

‘Noise Pollution’ is twelve hard-hitting and extremely well-written rock-tunes with focus in the riff and the catchy melody, from four guys who are smitten by the melodic grunge of the 90’s. Without repeating the history, Black Income brings a new dimension and a new level to the genre!

Pitched battles of epic proportions, sand oceans, necromancers performing their rituals, foaming at the mouth… Everything in Blood Ages’ music arouses mental pictures, and for good reason: a story hides behind each and every riff. Death metal certainly, but of the oneiric sort.

The band was born in 2009 in this incubator for metal which Toulouse (France) has become. In 2012 the combo releases its first album, At The Height Of The Storm. Without drawing breath, Blood Ages continues to develop, plays numerous gigs, and rushes to Conkrete Studio (Gorod, Otargos, Loudblast, …) to begin the recording of its sophomore effort, Godless Sandborn.

Its composition has been conducted in parallel with the writing of a novella – each chapter of the latter corresponds to a track of the former. Taking place in a fictional era notably reminiscent of ancient Egypt with its deserts, sumptuous palaces and dark secrets, we follow the steps of Hamza, a young orphan taken in by an order of assassins. In this hostile universe, he’ll know a destiny as glorious as tragic.

The music floats between brutal, incisive death metal, and modern deathcore. The compositions, adorned with orientalist and medievalistic melodies, are constituent parts of the band’s identity. Mythological references are legion, the lyrics conjure up unknown worlds, and the riffs, dark and violent, evoke forgotten Gods and heroic fates.

Through the new allbum Godless Sandborn, Blood Ages wishes to immerse the listener in a meaningful musical adventure. Godless Sandborn will be released on the 27th of May 2016 on CD digipack and digitally through Mighty Music.

The young, Danish alternative metal outfit Blood Label, who features members of such prominent bands as Hatesphere, Dawn of Demise and The Burning, releases highly anticipated debut produced by Danish super producer Tue Madsen.

The young Danes in Blood Label have since 2008 spread their potent blend of death and thrash across the planes of their native Denmark. Having supported some of the biggest acts of international metal such as Entombed, Arch Enemy and Vader, and played venues and festivals all over their home country, the band quickly gained the reputation of being a highly explosive live act, and with the release of their 2011 EP “Existence Expires” (produced by ex-Hatesphere frontman Jacob Bredahl), they soon manifested their position as one of the most aspiring talents on the Danish underground metal scene.

Blood Label, who features members of such prominent Danish bands as Hatesphere, The Burning and Dawn of Demise, are now ready to take on the rest of the world with the hard-hitting debut effort “Skeletons”. On the album the band fuses the immense energy of extreme metal with clear influences of alternative rock in 12 distinctive songs wrapped in the thick, voluminous signature sound of world-renowned, Danish producer Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Suicide Silence, Aborted).

 “Skeletons”  is out worldwide on CD and LP March 17 2014!

The Danish punk rock band Broadway Killers only believes in two things – good song writing and great live performances. They have no intensions of creating the revolutionary, but focus on writing strong, melodic punk rock music. With no use of auto-tune, beat detective or other fancy electronic devices they take pride in the fact that what you hear is what they play.

Broadway Killers is not part of any hype or musical trend, but build their music on the energy of the punk music, the attitude of grunge and the sound of the alternative rock scene.

It all starts as a side project late 2010 as Emil, Anders and Jakob decide to go back to their musical roots. With bands like Nirvana, Social Distortion, Pearl Jam in mind, they create a sound that states their belief that real music is being played by real people.

Quickly the band won international acclaim within the scene and Broadway Killers became the three friends’ first priority. Founder and bass player of Bad Religion, Jay Bentley, describers the band as; “the best new band out there right now”. Lead singer of the American punk band Anti-Flag, Justin Sane, appears on the debut album and Broadway Killers has opened for Bad Religion, Anti-Flag and one of the most successful German rock bands, Beatsteaks.

After releasing three EPs in one year the fan base showed extraordinary dedication and made it possible to crowdfund the debut album, “Broadway Killers”, which was released September 5th 2014. A ten track and 28 minutes long record that sounds like three people playing fast, aggressive and melodic punk rock.

With several years of experience, a label deal with Target Group/Mighty Music and a signed contract with the acknowledged German booking agency x-why-z, the future is here and the band has already begun writing songs for the next release.

Danish hard rock with a classic nerve and excellent sense of both melody and energy! That is the recipe for rock’n’roll anno 2015 for Danish rockers, Bullet Train Blast.

The band have since the debut in 2009 pushed the Danish rock scene with a mix of ZZ Top & Van Halen to Foo Fighters and Black Stone Cherry, and with the new album, Shake Rattle Racing, the band continues the ride along the classic rock’n’roll road with both catchy, melodic & rocking songs all bound together by blistering guitar solos and energy.

There is a tight focus on energy, melody and good musicianship when the band plays live – rock’n’roll is best served with attitude and energy, which is always the case when Bullet Train Blast serves! The band’s previous album, Nothing Remains, took both the Danish and international rock scene by storm, and went straight to #13 on the Danish album chart.

Bullet Train Blast recorded the third album, “Shake Rattle Racing” with producer-guru Tue Madsen (Hatesphere, Sick Of It All, The Haunted, Mnemic). The record introduces two new members, Jakob Ellerup on bass, and Henrik “Heinz” Jacobsen (ex-Hatesphere & Koldborn) on guitar. This is probably the most boring fact, you will read this year, but hey – they are really nice guys.

Genre wise the album is in the hard rock genre with lots of blistering & bluesy guitar solos and catchy vocal – so buckle up and enjoy the hardrock ride with Bullets Train Blast “Shake Rattle Racing”.

“Shake Rattle Racing” is out via Mighty Music in Denmark May 25th and in the rest of the world July 3rd 2015!

“Everything must die, everything has to start over, and then, end again.”

Guitarist Marcos Moura started the project after the split-up of NEPHASTH, one of the most prominent Brazilian death metal bands in the early 2000s, which he was a member of. Accompanied by Pedro Webster on vocals & bass, Raissan Chedid on guitar and Matheus Montenegro (ex-THE ORDHER) on drums, the band started playing some local shows and recorded an EP in 2010 in their hometown of Porto Alegre, Brazil.

During the recording of what would become the first full-length album, Montenegro left the band, at which point Chedid, previously the guitarist, took over the drums and a new guitarist, Rafael Barros (another former member of NEPHASTH), was invited to join the band.

The new material already having been entirely recorded by the original line-up, leaving only the recording of a few backing vocals by Barros and the final production and mixing, the band released the pre-edited material on their YouTube channel in June 2014, where their first contact with the Danish label Mighty Music occurred.

Produced by BURN THE MANKIND and Henrique López, the album titled “To Beyond” contains 11 tracks, including two bonus tracks from their 2010 EP, with death metal as a musical reference along with the influences of grindcore and thrash metal. Webster says about the work: “…It features an ethical-existential concept of a character dominated by the void in a diseased society, who, through a subjective strength, overcomes the dialectical notions of good and evil, setting in motion a plan to transcend our physical world and thus being reborn.”

One of the most important US death metal bands alongside Deicide & Morbid Angel, Brutality  from Tampa, Fl. has been devastating the underground since 1986

In 1988 they released their first demo “Brutality” which gained them recognition in the underground fanzines.

Their 2nd demo “Dimension Demented” was recorded in 1990 releasing a 7-inch EP on Gore Records called “Hell on Earth”.

1991 saw the release of “Metamorphosis” a cassette EP that received worldwide distribution on Wild Rags Records.

After necessary lineup changes in 1992, the band propelled forward and into the studio to record a new demo. The band utilized this demo to shop for a record deal and found interest from many different labels. They signed with Nuclear Blast Records and released a 2-song, 7-inch EP called “Sadistic”.

Brutality’s first album “Screams of Anguish” was released in 1993. They toured with Hypocrisy in Europe and crushed venues with their dark metal riffs.

The bands 2nd album “When the Sky Turns Black” was released in 1994. The release of “When the Sky Turns Black” spawned a European wide venture where they toured with Bolt Thrower & Cemetery.

With continued efforts to improve their sound and direction, additional lineup changes were made in 1995 and they started writing their 3rd album “In Mourning”. This, their 3rd and most recent album was released in 1996.

After years of success Brutality’s band members decided to disband, to pursue personal gain with family and their careers.

All three of Brutality albums were re-mastered and released in 2008 on Metal Mind Productions with unreleased bonus tracks.

Mid 2012 Brutality reformed and released the EP “Ruins Of Humanity” on CD in the US and on 7″ep vinyl in Europe through Mighty Music.

The comeback album “Sea Of Ignorance” was released in the States and South America through the band’s own label in 2016. Now the album is finally getting a proper release through Mighty Music in Europe on the 26th of May 2017 on CD, LP and digital. The album is available for license/release in Japan.

Celestial Son is a progressive grunge/rock/metal band from Denmark founded in 2003 in Silkeborg under the name Drone. Since the debut EP Misanthropia (as Drone) was released in 2007, Celestial Son has developed the musical style from atmospheric and electronically inspired to a more melodic, hardhitting and ambitious expression á la Alice in Chains, Nine Inch Nails, Porcupine Tree, Tool, King Crimson, Nirvana and the early Genesis. The band moves in the unexplored borderline between the progressive artrock of the seventies, the electronic and dirty industrial, complex hard rock and the melodic grunge of the nineties.

From the first note played on the bands second album Saturn’s Return it is very clear that Celestial Son is a band who’ve found it’s sound. The band is led by singer, guitarist and songwriter Rasmus Sjøgren, who’s able to unify complex songwriting with a raw and direct expression.

Celestial Son released the debut album Doors of Perception (as Drone) in 2011 and that kick-started a lot of things for the band – e.g lived a year in Hamburg, Germany to take the band a step further the international scene, had more than 160 plays on various Danish radio channels, signed with the recognized german label Cargo Records on the debut album and played loads of concerts in Denmark and abroad e.g. SPOT Festivalen 2011.

Saturn’s Return will be released in 2015 through Target Records and in many ways the album will take the band to the next level. For instance there will be produced four music videos for the record, whereof two has been filmed in L.A. directed by the highly acclaimed director Karim Ghahwagi (Trentemøller, Efterklang & Kúra). The last two videos is directed by the just as highly acclaimed director Lasse Hoile, who’ve made videos, artwork and live visuals for a long list of internationally prominent names, like Dream Theater, Opeth, Porcupine Tree and Steven Wilson. Lasse Hoile will also be handling the albums visual appearance through pictures for cover and artwork.
