A musician has a constant need of writing songs; and songs like to choose their authors carefully. That’s exactly what happened with the 9 songs in DAMN FREAKS debut album. Rising from the ashes of a previous band called FOOLS’ MOON, drummer and producer Matteo Panichi had started  working on some ideas guitarist Marco Torri had sent him. “Good ol’ party time rock’n’roll” that’s the record the pair wanted to record. And who better than their long time friend Iacopo “Jack” Meille – singer from Tygers of Pan Tang – could help them writing the most catchy choruses you could ever dreamed to hear in 2017?

“We all wanted to capture the vibe that we loved way back in the ’80 when we were listening all day to White Lion, Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Dokken and David Lee Roth” – reckons Iacopo – “it seems like people have completely forgot that music can also be the soundtrack of your happiest and laid back moments!”

Songs such as ‘Dream Highway’ or the powerful ‘Break The Chains’ need to be listened at maximum volume when driving in your car while stuck in everyday traffic, to make you feel the positive vibe of r’n’r.

“We all wanted to write songs that could stand next to our favourite songs of the ’80” – it’s Marco speaking – “’Poison Apple’ next to ‘Knucklebones’ from David Lee Roth or ‘Burning Up’ next to Van Halen’s ‘Panama’ and now you can do it by building your own compilation on Spotify and have a blast!”

The 9 tracks of their debut album were recorded in their home town Florence in Tuscany and mixed by Harry Hess from Harem Scarem fame.

Matteo has no doubt about this: “In a way we consider ourselves the freaks of the third millennium, as we still want to try to have a good time and music is the perfect and 100% legal drug” – “ so Yeah, we are freaks, we are DAMN FREAKS and we will help you having a good time!”

Dear Delusion’s second record – Sleep of Reason – is a continuation of their first record – Imprisonment – which was well received with good reviews from rockfreaks.net and lydtapet.net to name a few. It also spawned a good deal of air time at MyRock radio. Sleep of Reason is the sound of a rock band boiling with the urge to fight ignorance and extremism. The music is inspired by a wide selection of artists such as Alice in Chains, Muse and Nine Inch Nails. The music is forceful, dark and gloomy neo-grunge rock. Aligned with the theme of the record it makes a solid statement in the shape of a musical torpedo gunning towards religious fanatism as well as moral- and mental surrender.

When you fight against dogmatic fanatism, a certain liberating mental autonomy rises. Such a liberation breaks through the wall of sound on Sleep of Reason. The record is inspired by the themes of Francisco Goya’s painting, “El sueño de la razón produce monstruos” (Sleep of reason produces monsters), and through this theme Dear Delusion shouts out and launches a critical strike towards the ignorant, the extreme and the narrowminded person. A person who is entangled ind his own blinded and self-righteous vision of life. This heavy statement of a rock record is a declaration of war against all kinds of folly caused by sleep of reason.

Sleep of Reason was created in about six months, and it was recorded in Gain Factory with Jakob Gundel as the engineer and producer. The band loved Gundel’s work as a drummer and a producer with both Black Book Lodge and Franklin Zoo, and they were particularly impressed by Gundel’s ability to make a raw and cynical sound, that were able to match Dear Delusion’s ambitions about making a hard hitting and intense rock record.

Dear Delusion consist of 4 band members that originated from each corner of Denmark. This provincial gathering created a creative base in the center of Copenhagen. Front singer and guitarist, Simon Roland Pedersen, is flanked by guitarist Andreas Bjerno and bass player Simon Gessø Hansen, and drummer Rasmus Rindom Riise is the musical anchor of the group.

DEATHRONIC is a Parisian one man band created by Amine Andalous in 2010.DEATHRONIC is experimenting with a sound that could be called Symphonic Black Death Metal, combining several influences such as electronic music, oriental, doom and old school heavy metal! 

In late 2011 Deathronic entered The Parlours Studios, in Kettering UK and began recording his first album, “Duality Chaos” with Neil Haynes as engineer. The vocals were recorded in March 2012 at the Audio Sound Art Studio in Berlin and engineered by Laurentx Etxemendi (Gojira etc.).

“Duality Chaos” was mixed & mastered in April 2012 by Fredrik Nordström and Henrik Udd at Studio Fredman (Dimmu Borgir, At the Gates, Opeth, In Flames, etc.) – the famous Gothenburg Sound! The main concept behind “Duality Chaos” is human violence, a theme which is very present both in the lyrics and on the album’s artwork. Amine explains:

“The idea is to denounce how human are, still today, bestial beings. The contemporary bloody conflicts are a perfect example of this. Mankind continues to kill for irrational reasons. In this sense, real progress, real evolution is not measured by our technological innovations, but progress in acquiring wisdom, “Progress of mind”. I think that the origin of that violence is the internal duality of human beings (the struggle between Good and Evil). Many of the worst atrocities are perpetrated in the name of subjective notions of good or bad… A duality that gives birth to chaos.” 

All music and lyrics is written & performed by Amine Andalous. The Artwork is made by SEPTICFLESH’s Seth Siro Anton.

“Duality Chaos” will be released in all of Europe January 28th 2013.

Formed in 2007, Spanish progressive metallers in DISTANCE is finally ready with their highly anticipated debut album with the plain title “I”.

Since the beginning, the idea behind DISTANCE was clear: to combine all of its six member’s musical influences into a solid, rough yet melodic musical vehicle. Weaving musical patterns from riff-driven technical thrashers, proggy ambient tracks and even some nice industrial samples and beats… all of that carefully placed together into a single package, delivered with absolute cohesion.

The band’s highly anticipated full-length album debut “I”, features over 45 minutes of music divided into 8 distinct tracks and has been produced by the band itself, while mix and mastering is done by the well-known Finnish producer Samu Oittinen (Diablo, Insomnium, Korpiklaani etc.).

The album’s lyrical themes range from social and human behavior to coping with the loss of loved ones and the role of the individual in the complex journey that is life itself.

DISTANCE is not the measurement of space from point A to point B, it is an intricate and tasteful musical journey with twists and turns, ups and downs, that describes life and examines the eternal questions we as a species want to answer: where do we come from… and where are we going. “Whatever your mission in life may be, we all have to sit back and make the best of the ride… and that is what DISTANCE is all about.” Vocalist Morgan explains.

Musically DISTANCE combines the precision and technical ability of modern progressive and melodic death metal bands such as Textures, Soilwork and Threat Signal, the industrial machine-like approach to metal from bands like Fear Factory, Strapping Young Lad and Mnemic and the melodies and feeling you would expect from grunge bands like Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and modern American metal classics such as Killswitch Engage.

“I” will be released worldwide on November 10th 2014 via Mighty Music.

DOPPLER emerged in 2003 when Rafa, Dani and Gago got together in order to give free rein to their concerns and create music that shows their eclectic range of influences, which involve disparate elements such as metal, rock and even industrial music. Years passed by until Albano Fortes (Body On Sections, ex-Hybrid) in early 2008 joined as their definitive front man, contributing with his interest for more extreme sounds, and completing what still is the actual line-up.After this the band spent a long time in their rehearsal studio rearranging their old stuff and writing new tunes, developing their sound and finally achieving their trademark sound.

Now the work effort culminates with the release of their debut album “Apophenia: Type I Error”. An album based on low tuned riffs and complex polyrhythms, which could easily be related to genres like Djent or Math Metal. The album is recorded in the critically acclaimed Sadmen Studios (Adrift, Human Mincer, Hamlet, etc…) and mastered by the well-known producer Jacob Hansen in Hansen Studios (Heaven Shall Burn, Raunchy, Aborted etc…). The result is eight tracks which concepts deals with the different phases of a tortured schizophreniacs mind, moving through different episodes that feature different feelings from hilarious conditions to surreal abstractions.

Formed in 2006 and reformed again with new vocalist Emil Kyrk in 2016 Egonaut return with their fourth full-length album “The Omega”, out on Mighty Music in November 2017.
The band was formed by Fredrik and Markus in 2006 and have over the years developed from being a straight to the point bastard between punk, stoner and hard rock into a supersonic Doom N Roll institution. Through the ages Egonaut has time and time again proven themselves a worthy live band during countless club-gigs in Sweden, several European runs and in performances on most of the major Swedish festivals such as Sweden Rock, Peace and Love, Putte i Parken, Metallsvenskan among many others.

After finishing off the touring cycle for the album “Deluminati” Egonaut realized that they had pushed themselves as far as the current line-up could take it and that some change needed to be done; enter new vocalist Emil Kyrk. With Fredrik liberated from vocal-duties he could now fully concentrate on the song writing and production side for a new album and in November 2016 the band entered Nordic Sound Lab to begin the creation of the new album, “The Omega”. Picking up where Egonaut left off “The Omega” takes the same doomy sound that the band utilized on their sophomore album “Deluminati” incorporating heavy doom elements, hard rock influences, ethereal synthesizers and catchy hooks to form a heavy ground for Emil to sing over.

The Omega is the first concept album from Egonaut and it tells the story of a seeker, trying to find his place in the modern world and what transpires when he finally finds it.
The recordings of “The Omega” took place in several different studios, all to achieve the best possible sonic image to match the songs and the lyrics and the album was once again mixed and co-produced by MRG Produktion. The artwork was provided by Adrian Baxter and the new logo by Costin Chioreanu, perfectly framing the release.

Mighty Music proudly presents the first Japanese band in our roster; ELEANOR. The band plays far eastern melancholic gothic metal. ELEANOR is influenced by the most of the European bands in the same genre, but adds the unique Japanese ethnic sensitivity and sound – making their version of melancholic gothic metal an inspiring experience.

The band visited Belgium in 2013 and fell in love with the European live scene, making them wanting to come back. With the international release of the new album “Celestial Nocturne” through Mighty Music in early 2018 , the band aims for the stars and it should not be to long before we see them on European soil once again.

After having released two EPs and a full – length album, EPSILON, established in 2003 in St. Pölten, the capital city of Lower Austria, now present their latest death-metal-masterpiece entitled “zu richten”.

Just right in time for their tenth anniversary, EPSILON went through a personnel change: Guitarist Schmidi (DEFILED UTOPIA) and drummer Urge (BASTARD PEELS) revitalised the quintet with fresh ideas. After several live performances (i.a. with OBITUARY, BENEDICTION and as a highlight the Wacken Open Air 2012), they created eleven new songs, mainly elaborated by the two guitarists and drummer Urge alone, but always completed in teamwork.

Technically matured due to the musical development of the whole band, EPSILON referred to the sounds of BLOODBATH, VALLENFYRE or the early ENTOMBED while writing and recording their songs. The final refinement (mixing & mastering) took place at the Stage One Studio under the aegis of Andy Classen (i.a. DESTRUCTION, BELPHEGOR, KRISIUN).

The artwork for the cover, which was designed by the renowned Austrian painter Roman Träxler especially for the album, portrays according to the artist, “a new kind of human being that does not eat, can’t hear, see nor speak and thus cannot do any harm to the world”.

The lyrics, penned by frontman Krise, deliberate the self-perception of mankind, its misconduct and ethical action. Another central issue are animal rights – and that in both, a very clear and a more metaphoric – fictional way of telling.

‘zu richten’ will be released worldwide via Mighty Music June 8^th. 2015!

The new Russian power metal sensation is an unstoppable force with a mission to bring back Heavy Metal to the venues.

ESTATE was founded in Krasnodar, Russia in 2012 by a group of people with the same mission – a mission to play live and loud heavy metal in the vein of classic acts like Helloween, Scorpions, Van Halen, Whitesnake etc. It’s the guitar, the power, the riffs and especially the melody that makes these five Russians this unstoppable force of heavy metal.

The members of ESTATE, is truly a unit with same religious beliefs, traditions, customs, notions of honor, valor, heroism, freedom and love. All of this is reflected in their music, which is best described as melodic power metal with influences from traditional folk music, 80’s pop music and the glam of the 70’s.

The band is already a well-known live-act on the metal-scene in Russia and has shared stage with acts like Doro, Michael Schenker and Kipelov (ex-Aria).

In the spring of 2014 the band completed recording their debut album “Fantasia”. The album is produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by the band themselves at “Estate studio”.

The remarkable artwork is done by none other than Leo Hao, who is well known for working with bands like Blind Guardian, Rage, Iced Earth, Magic Kingdom and Aria.

“Fantasia” will be released on 1. December via Mighty Music / Target.

The immense atmosphere of the Alpine landscape has to some a certain sense of eternity to it. The snow covered mountaintops and misty valley floors of the Alps have long since preceded us humans, and will remain here long after we cease to exist. Swiss-based Ever Since has not only experienced this atmosphere first handedly, but even based their name and entire musical enterprise upon the amazing scenery of the Swiss Alps!
Originally founded out of the ashes of now disbanded Sacrement, drummer Cédric and guitarist Vincent took the decision back in 1998, to continue the musical lineage of Sacrement, and perpetuate it through a new vessel, ironically enough called Ever Since. The luminescent atmosphere of bands such as Dark Tranquility, Paradise Lost and Cradle of Filth, sparked a light in Ever Since, who had now become a full band, and with this light, they soon spawned the two albums, “Into a Reign of Pain” from 2001 and “Fight the Elements” from 2002, to much critical acclaim from the international metal media.
With the two albums, the band had established a musical framework based on melancholia, simplicity and nerve, but after the release of their 3rd effort “Between Heaven and Hell” and subsequent tours of France and England, the fire had burned out, and in 2007 the band was sadly forced to go on hiatus.
Now it’s 2013, and the fire in Ever Since has rekindled. The band is now back with their latest magnum opus “Bring Out the Gimp” produced, mixed and mastered by Sybreed-mastermind Drop. The Swiss masters of melancholia recently joined forces with the leading, Danish metal label Mighty Music to release “Bring Out the Gimp” on February 17th 2014. To support the release,
