STASS - "Warriors Land" (Official Promo Video)
STASS is a new band created by Felix Stass, vocalist from CREMATORY and Rogga Johansson, guitar player from Paganizer. We're talking death metal that won't dissapoint fans of Amon Amarth and Obituary.

"Warriors Land" is the first single from the debut album “The Darkside” to be released 15th of September on Mighty Music.

STASS was formed after Felix and Rogga met at a Paganizer gig in Germany 2012. Paganizer was playing a minitour and at a gig in Ludwigshafen near Mannheim where Felix resides, they bumped into eachother. Sharing a mutal love for metal and drinking aswell as eating, there couldnt be much question that they would enjoy eachothers company. After keeping in touch and Felix guesting on a song on the second Megascavenger album they both thought it would be cool to work on a whole album together, combining their talents in the best possible way. And then the idea of STASS was born. To make an album together that showcases both the heavy and the dark and also the melodic sides to both their main bands Crematory and Paganizer. A total of fifteen songs were written and recorded and produced by Demiurg bassplayer Johan Berglund, who also plays bass on the album. On lead guitars Paganizers Kjetil Lynghaug stepped in and excels in some awesome solowork. The album that contains ten of the fifteen written songs is a vortex of melodic dark death metal, oozing of the vibe and the voice of Crematory but merged with the heaviness of Swedish death metal.

Felix Stass - Vocals
Rogga - Johansson - Guitars
Kjetil Lynghaug - Lead Guitars
Johan Berglund - Bass
Erik R Bevenrud - Drums

Recorded at The Rotpit, Sweden and Empire Studios, Germany Mixed and mastered by Johan Berglund at MountainCove Studios All music and lyrics by STASS Artwork by Mark Erskine Bandphoto editing by Turkka Rantanen. A&R by Michael H. Andersen

Force Majeure - Gemini Rising (official promo video)
Finnish chart entering power metal band Force Majeure is back in business!

"Gemini Rising" is the first single, out today, from the comeback album "The Rise of Starlit Fires" out 8th of September worldwide through Mighty Music.

About Force Majeure
While starting to ascend to heavy metal pantheon for the third time, having parted ways with their previous vocalist, Force Majeure had no rush, nothing to lose and everything to gain. Therefore, this album marks a new beginning for the band on a quest to make heavy metal great again and to create their absolute best work to date. Along Rise of Starlit Fires hops onboard Finland’s best kept secret, vocalist Marcus Lång. The powerful voice of Marcus is the heavy metal jaegerbomb on top of premium quality compositions which make Force Majeure stand out in the line of metal bands

The recordings of The Rise of Starlit Fires started in a studio located deep underneath a humble shopping centre in Helsinki and were completed successfully in legendary D-studio in Klaukkala, Finland. It was important to choose a studio environment for laying down the tracks of album, instead of a bedroom made home recording. The band wanted to keep the sounds and the performances true to their artistic vision, yet still avoiding over-editing to kill the danger aspect in their sound.

The rock solid foundation created by the rhythm section with bigger drum sound and clearly audible fierce bass playing, combined with the bands unique sense of melody and mixed musical influences go beyond different genres in heavy metal and music in general. This is what gives Force Majeure their power metal identity. Lyrically the band has always stayed outside the fantasy worlds of dungeons and dragons as another key differentiator from the "industry standards". Force Majeure wanted to call the album with longer name especially to hear how legendary Finnish radio host Klaus Flaming would pronounce it with his perfect pronounciation.

Force Majeure's roots go back to 2001 when the two guitarists Jussi and Eemeli met each other. After several self financed demos and hard, sweaty groundwork for extending the fan base, Force Majeure's debut album Frozen Chambers was released 2008 in Finland, Russia, Sweden and GAS. The debut was received positively among listeners and press alike and opened new doors for Force Majeure. It even managed to enter the top 40 album chart in Finland, while the first single off the album made its way to the top 5 on the national singles chart. In 2011 Force Majeure’s second album “Saints of Sulphur” was released and introduced new possibilities, for example first ever shows outside Finnish borders in Italy, clocking a total of around 80 live performances for the band. The Rise of Starlit Fires album was carefully matured and takes everything to the next level, in terms of song material, the overall performance and production. This is truly an album to check out for any metal fan and music lover around the world. For those about to power metal… we salute you!

Epic Doom Metal Band Forsaken (Malta) ink multiple album deal with Mighty Music

Mighty Music are proud to welcome Forsaken from Malta to the family. Forsaken was formed in 1990 and is considered one of the true survivors of the epic doom metal genre.

Albert Bell, founder, lyricist and bass player of Forsaken "Signing with Michael and Mighty Music is a crucial step forward for the band. I have personally known Michael since the earliest days of the band. He is both a fan and a close friend of the band. His support and friendship are two important qualities that tipped the scale in Mighty's favor in the process of deciding on a new home for Forsaken. Moreover, from a business perspective, Mighty possesses all the requisite qualities we were looking for this time round. Mighty Music has grown considerably in stature and reputation and hosts some really awesome bands, and we are all really elated to be in such great company. Fans can expect our first full-length release with Mighty Music this fall. "Pentateuch" has all the ingredients epic doom maniacs have come to expect from the band - killer songs laced with soaring, passionate vocals from Leo, raging, fret-shredding solos from Sean, and head crushing riffs built on a very solid rhythm section. Combining with Simeon to build this foundation for the band is something that comes natural to us and is always a real pleasure. I am also really happy with the lyrics for this album....I really poured my soul into them. Every band member left no stone unturned into making this release a most worthy addition to our long history and discography. It has really been a long time coming, but the wait will be worth it and we are really chuffed that a label of Mighty Music's calibre has taken Forsaken and our new spawn "Pentateuch" on board, with the prospect of further releases in the future as our alliance with Mighty continues to grow".

Michael H. Andersen, Mighty Music "Ever since I visited Albert Bell in Malta back in 1996, I regret not having signed Forsaken to my label earlier. I've been a huge fan of the band since I heard the doom cult classic "Where Angels Have Fallen" for the first time in 1992-1993. The fact that Forsaken now is a part of my family, makes my old doom heart so proud".

Forsaken are currently doing the final touches on their highly anticipated first album in six years. "Pentateuch" is the title and it will be released on the 13th of October on LP, CD and digital. A release concert is held in Malta on the 14th of October in a new venue called The Garage in Zebbug and afterwards the band will be heading on European tour.

Here is a raw live recording from last year. Forsaken performing the song "Via Crucis (The Way Of The Cross)" in Vienna:

The hitsingle "Geordie" from Danish hard rock band Junkyard Drive has now reached over 200.000 plays on Spotify and over 100.000 views on Youtube, making Junkyard Drive the most succesful new hard rock band in Denmark in 2017 so far.

New single "B.A.D." is not a cover song of the Michael Jackson classic, but a blood sweating, mean mother fucker of a sleaze rock song, Sweden Rock Magazine said this song in particular would fit on a W.A.S.P album. you get the idea when you listen to it.

The album “Sin & Tonic” was released worldwide in February – license in Japan through Bickee Music.
